The contest “Urban-promogiovani6” comes with a new look, characterized by innovative features of Urbapromo 2014. An evolution that uses the web to give an international dimension to the initiative, able to involve design students from the main Universities in all countries.

To participate in the Urban-promogiovani, students will be asked to submit a project proposal:

  • dedicated to the redevelopment of an urban area with a particular complexity and, therefore, needs an integrated approach to the choice of the competing group among those developed during their University studies.
  • in relation to some of the Urbanpromo key themes: urban renewal, urban marketing, smart city, sustainable energy, social housing.
  • described by the methods of analysis and design, morphological setting, the procedural content and implementation and with unlimited choices in relation to the urban context.
  • the quality of the student’s project proposals, will be credited by their teachers, chosen for the quality of their fame and cultural relations in the international range.
  • the projects and their authors will be published in the Multimedia Gallery of Urbanpromo 2014 and made known all over the world through the media partner.

The competing projects will be evaluated and rewarded:

  • by an international jury.
  • enthusiasts to the issues of urban regeneration that will visit the website Urbanpromo.

The competition will be further enhanced by a moment of debate among students on issues about the urban project exhibited in Milan during the days of Urbanpromo 2014.
