Also this year, Urbanpromo, the national main event on urban regeneration organized by the National Institute of Urban Planning [Istituto Nazionale di Urbanistica] and by Urbit, consists of three events. And this is a statement of growth and constant attention to the event.

On 20 and 21 September the second edition of Urbanpromo Green will take place at Palazzo Badoer, the Iuav – University of Venice Doctoral School’s branch, proposing two days of debate on urban planning and living and working conditions in our cities issues, from the sustainability policies point of view.

On 11 and 12 October the eighth edition of Urbanpromo social housing will be held in Turin, at the Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art [Galleria di Arte Moderna e Contemporanea – GAM]. This event, promoted by a wide and qualified partnership, offers the occasion to deepen social housing issues.

From 20 to 23 November the Triennale Museum in Milan will be the venue where the fifteenth edition of Urbanpromo will take place.
Waiting for the new events of Urbanpromo 2018, Inu and Urbit promote two calls for papers and the international contest “Urban-promogiovani”, dedicated to university students.

“The Need for Justice in the Changing City” is the call for paper connected to the international conference of the same name that will be held during Urbanpromo in Milan, at the Triennale, with the collaboration of the leading scientific journals “URBANISTICA” and “Planum. The Journal of Urbanism”. The deadline for sending your abstract is set as 10 June 2018.
The second call for paper is related to the “UPhd Green” conference that will take place in Venice in September during Urbanpromo Green. Promoting young innovative ideas emerging from PhD courses consistent with Urbanpromo Green approach and macro-themes is the aim. And this is to encourage a discussion on different visions, methods and operational tools about the “green change” in the fields of architecture and city. This deadline is also scheduled for June, 10.
In the end, we remind you the usual event “Urban-promogiovani” (10th edition).
