“La Casa” inside the green is located in the context of the “Contratto di Quartiere II” of Lecce, a program of urban regeneration with the goal of requalify the entire “area 167” of the city. The intervention consists in the realisation of an housing complex for social cathegories in economical difficulties and neighborhood services, in particular way a kindergarten and a nursery school, a center of activities for old people, offices for productive and professional activities, social constructions for cathegory of people with low economical possibilities, and housing units for consolidated families. The space, as a place for communal life, is integrated in the building volumes, making easier the socialisation between inhabitants, in spite of their different ethnical group. The apartment thypologies are different to adapt to different needs. The green of the housing units, the collective one and the one property of the block of apartment, define a high quality standard for the environment around the building volume.
