The Union of ‘Romagna Faentina’ consists of six municipalities over a 600km territory, in the Ravenna province, between the via Emilia and the Apennines chain; the Union hosts 85.000 inhabitants and is marked by a multitude of various settlements, both urban and rural.
In 2010, the Municipalities jointly approved their urban plans of structural level, foresseing a common scenario of a project aimed at exploiting the exellence and at the same time, lowering risks, thanks to innovative urban techniques – summarized with 10 quality goals- which design the territory and arrange it according to its vocations.
In 2015 the common planning of the six Municipalities continues with the creation of the Urban and Building Regulation which develops structural strategies, exemplifying a delivery model that fosters the implementation of security, sustainability and identity prerequisites.
