The project, chosen through and international design competition, predict the recovering of part of the existing buildings and the realization of new buildings for university services (student housing and sport center), housing, services and retail.
The project gives value to the ring structure of the barrack creating a big urban ring. The planimetric disposition of the buildings located on the border of the area is granted through the realization of three new buildings on along it, while and another one, partially underground, is located in the center.
Big openings generate new direct connections between the new internal public park and the existing ones on the North and South of the area, reconnecting in the city context one of its component that has been closed out until now.
