Giovinazzo is a small town in N-W of the Metropolitan city of Bari with a population of around 20,396. It is located 20 km from Bari and its coast stretches for 10.61 Km. The Municipal Administration of Giovinazzo after carrying out important interventions for the consolidation and upgrading of the areas facing the two waterfronts (one east of the historic center and the other west) and the reclamation of Lama Castello (near the site where the former Acciaierie e Ferriere Pugliesi were founded), focused its attention on urban regeneration as an operational methodology for urban development of the territory also understood as social and economic development of the city. The interventions for the restoration and upgrading of the Villa Comunale and the Valorization of the compless of the Monastery of the Agostiniani (House of Cultures), fall within this logic. Indeed, the two real estate summaries, the first dating back to the beginning of the last century, the other made from 1732 and subject to constraints) (right d.Lgs 42/2004), will be restored to the central function, both as regards the social aggregation (not by chance at the Agostinians complex, for the functions assigned to it, was referred to as “House of Cultures”), both for the urban significance of the context in which interventions are made with respect to urban regeneration initiatives in phase of definition by the municipal administration in the context of public-private
