“T3T ANALOGIC REGENERATION 4.0” is a process to GIVE BACK to the district public functions and spaces that were private until now, which will participate in the urban transformation to adapt to the new urban condition. The closing of an industrial area now enclosed in the urban framework, give the possibility to realize an ECO URBAN DISTRICT with mixed functions, auto sufficient from the energetic point of view and with functions integrated in the model of the circular economy.
The strategy involve different subjects, financings and spaces: housing, social housing and retail meet each other with more experimental and innovative activities, like “agro-esplora”, education-productive area of urban agriculture experimentation and for alternative energy sources.
The area has an extension of 4,5 ha and is located inside a context of urban regeneration of more than 23 ha in the East part of Rome (Municipio V). The all intervention will be powered by an hybrid system with wooden biomass with reduction of CO2 as in the strategy HORIZON 2020 and the MAJOR’S AGREEMENT. The raw material for the plant will be provided by a program of Short Rotation Forestry that take place on the adjacent areas of the same district, realizing a ZERO NET EMISSION DISTRICT and realizing an educational urban park.
The project is included in the CALL FOR PROPOSAL “Riposizionamento Competitivo Sistemi Produttivi Regionali” that is placed above POR FESR Lazio, judged as permissible and financeable.
