In Orbassano the Cooperativa Edilizia (construction cooperative) “Giuseppe di Vittorio” with the resources available from the real estate ethic funding “FASP”, managed by “Investire S.p.A.”, realised a new complex for social housing. The intervention is composed of 96 new housing units of various dimension and typologies; of those, 22 will be possibly buy in 5 years and other 74 will be for renting for a period of 15 years with a reduced rate. The Cooperative will be the social manager and will act to be sure that whoever got the house would be able to keep it, also with the necessary interventions from an economic point of view. As a social manager we will look after the inner courtyard of the housing building as well, nodal point of the intervention, in a way to make it a point of reference not only for the inhabitants of the complex but for the entire district. This intervention is an example of effective cooperation between private social, public and finance and has effective social effects on the territory together with the feature of becoming a “good practice” to be exported and multiplied on a national level.
