The Open Incet is an ex-industrial complex located in the district called Barriera. It is configurated as a multi-functional center to transform ideas, research and technology in a shared value for the territory and its economic and social actors.
The reconversion of the site, started back in 2009, is part of the set of strategies and tools of the program “Torino Social Innovation”, that wants to facilitate the settlement of activities related with the generation and development of innovative ideas.
The space of Open Incet has been chosen because it is indicated to host the particular format of the VII edition of Urbanpromo Social Housing: two days of intense work with the participate modality of the fishbowl, for the community of operators of social living in the frame of an international confrontation.
