TIGER launches a complex program of interventions for the energy requalification of over 1,500 public residential housing units in 126 buildings in 58 municipalities of the Abruzzo Region. The project, coordinated by the Abruzzo Region in collaboration with the 5 regional ATERs, 2 energy agencies (AGENA and AESS) and AISFOR, aims to reduce energy consumption by more than 30% and emissions by 1760 tCO2/year, and contribute to fight energy poverty. During the 36 months, preparatory activities for the assignment of the tender valued at approximately 16 million euros will take place, including:
- the energy audit to know the technical characteristics of the buildings
- the nomination of a legal expert and the definition of the legal aspects of the tender,
- the construction of a financial plan integrating regional and national resources with energy performance contracts (EPC),
- the publication and evaluation of the tender.
