The European Union is recognizing food issues as urgent urban issues and, in addition to the CAP, has in recent years promoted additional programs to make the food system more compatible with the environment, more resilient to climate change, and more equitable in relations between actors and between territories.
It is in this context that the Cities2030 project, funded by the European Horizon 2020 program, is being developed, bringing together 40 European partners involved in various capacities in the different stages of the food system.
