Vittorio Salmoni e Domenico Moccia, INU – URBIT
The territory of the city of Naples has been subject to an impressive urban regeneration and recovery for years but, in this latest period also thanks to the interventions financed by the PNRR (for example the restoration of the Albergo dei Poveri, the largest public building in Italy, the replacement of the sails of Scampia and Taverna del Ferro) and the change in urban policies of the Manfredi administration, the interventions have taken on a dimension and a spatial distribution such as to characterize a specific phase of “redefinition” of the role and function of the city of Naples in the national context.
