Over the last ten years, several experiences of project planning and governance paths have emerged in the Tuscany region, aimed at defining Fiume contracts, which are configured as strategic planning tools of an supra-local nature, linked to the auction or river basin and declined in integrated actions of protection and mitigation of hydraulic risk, river and urban redevelopment, valorization of landscape and territorial contexts. The many experiences to date allow for a comprehensive reflection on various aspects of these tools: from activities involving participation and awareness raising, to on-site research by specialists and professionals; The organisational structure also provides for different types of governance (top down by the Reclamation Consortia, intermediate if initiated by the Municipalities, bottom up when the initiative is local associations) and contract types (river, lake, stream, coast). The conference will include a comprehensive analysis of the phenomenon and the presentation of some emblematic cases grouped by theme or geographical area.
