Municipality of Terni chose the Project Financing as the most appropriate way to realize the Master plan of the area named “ex Ospedale” along Nera riverside and Corso del Popolo street, projected by Wolfgang Frankl Architect. The site of “Project”, public spaces mostly used as parking and urban viability, is a portion of the historical center of town.
This operation, interesting an area approximately 4 acres large, complete the regeneration of the ancient part of the town, started with the “Piano di ricostruzione” designed by Mario Ridolfi Architect and closely linked with the Corso del Popolo axis, projected by the same architect. The project is coherent with the originally approach of the reconstruction plan, specially defining the relation with Nera river and twentieth-century neighborhood (“città Giardino”), through a subway.
