“Oltre la strada” (beyond the road) is a project of the Municipality of Brescia, made of interventions focusing on sustaining the resilience of the district of via Milano, the valorisation of the wellness, life quality, sustainable mobility; together with the integration and the active protection of new and existing.
The total value of the project is more than 50 millions euro, of which 20 are financed by the “Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri” and 10 by the Municipality. The project has been realized thanks to the contribution of 15 private partners.
The actions of the project include intervention for sustainable mobility, urban and building regeneration, social and cultural services, participation, technological infrastructure, new opportunities for job and housing offer.
“oltre la strada” is the beginning of a regeneration process that identifies in the Municipality the subject that collaborate with the citizens and the private investors to give a new future to a deeply compromised urban environment.
