The marginal position of this part of the city needs various interventions to be connected again with all the suburban area, and in the same time, it needs punctual intervention of urban regeneration that regards, in particular way, the housing complex Rozzol-Melara. This is a distinctive building complex realised as social housing in the ‘70s, usually known as the quadrilatero, which presents the problems typical of all the kind of housing from that period, in particular way from a maintenance point of view.
The connection of the different parts is integrated by a series of social and cultural actions aiming to improve the existing public services, pedestrian connections, road infrastructure; it also wants to prevent phenomenon of social distress, providing an increment in urban cohesion and safety. The program is organized in a systematic group of 27 interventions coordinated both in the realization and in the subjects involved for the operation.
