The project is part of the ex-public area near via Beethoven in Ferrara, an urban complex (48.000 sqm) located in the south-west. Existing buildings were completed in the late eighties. The project provides for the recovery of existing buildings, intended for public and administrative use. They were never been used, affected by a physical and functional decay. Because of their status, buildings have been renovated, and their intended uses was changed into residential one. The project also includes neighbourhood services, with a broad typological mix. The strategy for the long-term rental and selling of dwellings is based on reduced fees and discounted prices. The renovation project refers to 4 existing buildings (188 residential housings), some commercial units at the ground floor and a student house. Project also includes a wide green public area.
