Stefano Stanghellini, URBIT President

The session presents and discusses a number of projects aimed at revitalising parts of the city that have become unable to offer the performance standards required today and are sometimes even occupied by obsolete structures. The projects have in common the creation of a virtuous relationship between the skills that the private sector is able to provide and the ability of the administration to guide local development. Always at the heart of Urbanpromo’s multidisciplinary and multi-actor research, public-private partnerships take shape in new initiatives in which the quality of the project interacts with complex financial arrangements and sophisticated legal constructions.
