The positive results achieved in the recent year in the reconstruction of the Central Italian territories affected by the 2016-1017 earthquake are the result of innovative simplification actions that deserve to be known and consolidated.

Added to this are the new opportunities offered by the Complementary Plan to the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan) dedicated to the territories of the 2009 and 2016-17 earthquake, for sustainable development, ecological transition, digital transition, new infrastructures, circular economy.

The combination of these two actions now provides a framework of favourable conditions for meeting the challenges of safe, connected, green reconstruction, reversing the abandonment of inland areas and restoring value to places rich in art and nature.

The programme is structured in two sessions, with technical reports and the intervention of the main national and local policy-makers.
