Gianni Biagi, Giuseppe De Luca and Stefano Stanghellini, URBIT

Some forms of urban regeneration focus on the reuse of industrial buildings that combine the recovery of old structures with the establishment of new productive activities, which are those of the new economy through which the country is realizing the digital transition and also the ecological one, with innovations very often complementary. The establishment of such activities, in the most innovative formulas takes place through the incubation of new companies, the acceleration of their development, and the formation of innovative ecosystems thanks to the building networks of innovative companies in the urban space. An important component of these initiatives is the creation of new trades or the advent of new ways of exercising old trades, with the effect of bringing production back to the historic centers and in any case into mixed urban fabrics.
