The drafting of the Municipal Urban Plan of Pozzuoli, within the system Campi Flegrei, has focused on the need to define a vision of the city to 2050 that combines three fundamental pillars: prevention and management of environmental risks, also in relation to the phenomenon of bradysism, the protection and enhancement of the system of landscapes that characterize the territory, the integration of the city of Pozzuoli in the large metropolitan area, regional, national and Mediterranean. In this perspective, two objectives become essential: the security and quality of life and the sustainable strengthening and diversification of the city’s economy, creating a system of new economies to be integrated with local and traditional economies that produces value, Not only in economic terms but also in cultural and social terms.
