Francesca Zaccagnini e Valentina Mingo, ANCE

In an era of profound climate transformations and extreme events, Nature Based Solutions (NBS) are no longer just an ethical choice, but represent a new scenario to guarantee the resilient management of cities.

Following recent regulatory developments, such as the European Regulation 2024/1991 so-called. “Nature Restoration Law”, which are pushing towards urban planning aimed at greater attention to urban green spaces and the integration of greenery in buildings and infrastructures, local administrations and businesses are increasingly called upon to deal with these innovative solutions based on nature’s ability to positively impact the liveability of urban centers and the well-being of the community.

The conference therefore aims to provide a first area for reflection on NBS and how they translate into necessary skills, analysis of concrete costs and benefits.
