THE CONTEXT. The project area is located in the Camerino-Fabriano syncline, part of the Marche Ecological Network, between the San Vicino and Catria mountains and along the Esino, Potenza, and Chienti rivers. Castelraimondo, the central road hub between the syncline and the Potenza Valley, hosts the project. The landscape retains a strong historical and naturalistic value, with the reuse of tourist facilities and the presence of quality agritourism facilities, such as Borgo Lanciano. The Potenza Valley combines production and residential expansions with historical and traditional structures. Good accessibility and local identity support tourism and crafts, in a low-density foothill context and widespread manufacturing.

THE PROJECT. The general objective of the Implementation Plan is the creation of an integrated territorial-level centre capable of hosting specialized conference, recreational, tourist, craft and commercial facilities, etc. in a spatial composition characterised by a strong link with the surrounding territory of high landscape value equipped with historical architectural and naturalistic elements such as the Potenza river and the river park, Lanciano Castle and the historic forest, accessible through a continuous system of open spaces organized with pedestrian and cycle paths.
