The ITI Portonovo Strategy aims to activate a framework of integrated actions oriented towards inclusive, participatory and sustainable Territorial Development, through the paradigms of urban regeneration and the valorization of environmental and landscape characteristics.

The ultimate goal is to implement the intangible value of a landscape-environmental context, such as Conero Park and Portonovo Bay, to be pursued through the active and participatory involvement of the multiple communities that operate within it.

The strategic vision underlying the Portonovo ITI characterizes the Conero Urban Area (composed of the territories of the municipalities of Ancona, Camerano, Numana and Sirolo) as an ECO_cluster or a complex palimpsest of landscapes (coastal, agricultural, social, productive, urban) capable of representing itself as an added value in the new economies of experiential tourism, in terms of the identity heritage to be protected for the purposes of cultural continuity and territorial cohesion, but also as a potential start-up of an innovative accessibility model.

The interventions financed are:

Pedestrian descent route to Portonovo Bay – QTE amount € 1,450,000.00
Recovery and redevelopment of the former Mutilatini summer camp building in Portonovo – QTE amount € 3,000,000.00
Construction of 4 gates of the Conero Park in the municipalities of Ancona, Camerano, Sirolo and Numana – QTE amount € 550,000.00
Conero Inclusive hub – Amount € 600,000.00
