The ex-barrack Rossani has an area of about 8 hectares in the center of the settled city, near the area of the central station. Extension, location, historical-architecture and landscape value makes of it a strategic node for the requalification initiatives of all the metropolitan city and the entire region; at the same time, the ex-barrack is a place rich of vegetation, ideal space for the aggregation of the citizens, able to ensure a more pleasant place to live for the entire district and city. The strategy of regeneration wants to transform the area in a big urban park where social, cultural, recreational and sport activities can coexist through a project route that involves the citizens and the associations that, during the years, fought for this big space and its transformation into a place for the city. Several projects are under development. The opening of the first construction site is imminent.
