The DST of Perugia defines the territorial strategies required by the European Union for the correct use of the resources of the 2021-2027 programming. It is attuned to emerging questions in the environmental, economic and social fields, both European and national, in which the role of green and blue infrastructures and the development of circular economies take a central position. In Perugia it is intended as a tool to support the current PRG to enhance the overall strategic dimension supported by a framework of Strategic Objectives, Outlines and Project Actions and accompanied by support systems for project choices that allow the comparison between alternatives, the verification of feasibility and definable operational timeframes. It uses a repertoire of interpretative maps that spatialize the structuring, qualifying and critical characteristics of the territory and 3 ‘Guide-Projects’ that identify priority interventions and policies through some urban narratives relevant for the future of the city.
