On the 14th of May 2014 the PROTOCOLLO D’INTESA DELL’AREA METROPOLITANA MEDIO-ADRIATICA (protocol agreement of the medium-adriatic metropolitan area) has been signed by the 40 Municipalities of the Province of Ancona, to build a territorial strategy integrated and multi-sectorial that is coherent with the strategy EU 2020.
The competitive positioning of the territory, that is the VISION of the AMMA, is expressed in 5 development scenarios:
- AMMA as support to the productive system
- AMMA as integrated cluster for the logistic
- AMMA AS FACTORY for culturally oriented development, creativity and turism
- amma as territory of resilience
- amma as laboratory of urban regeneration and urban inclusion
After the sign of the protocol, the Municipalities presented about 300 project sheets considered significative and potentially collaborative with the goals of the 5 scenarios of development.
Through the process of condivision with the “general states” of the territory, 5 Territory Projects has been defined, established by a selection of the 300 interventions proposed:
- PROJECT OF TURISTIC PROMOTION FOR THE TERRITORY
- PROJECT OF RESILIENCE OF THE TERRITORY (IDRO-GEOLOGICAL SECURITY)
- PROJECT OF ENERGETIC SUSTAINABILITY OF THE TERRITORY
- PROJECT OF INTEGRATED MOBILITY OF THE TERRITORY
- PROJECT OF EFFICENCY OF THE PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION FOR THE TERRITORY
The next event about the construction process of the Development Plan for the Metropolitan Area will be the Metropolitan Conference, in December 2015.
